Horrible MPG's!!!
Damn that sucks! Well I'm not extremly worried but if I can get better mpg's why not...so I'm going to try all the reccomendations to see what happens.
What size is the gas tank? & How much fuel is in the jeep (including tank, and fuel lines) once the warning light comes on?

Well i got some time and changed the fuel filter and added Lucas fuel system cleaner. I was going to get a before and after reading but I dint feel like wasting fuel lol. The filter seemed to be clogged the weight difference between the old and new one was very noticeable. Stay Tuned!

did you check your tps? it might be bad,if you hav the aw4 trans, the tps helps put it in overdrive to help save some gas on the highway. not to mention the coolant temp. sensor and map sensor,o2 sensor, iac sensor, mat sensor. i would check those before changing gears.

I'm not an eggspert but in overdrive on stock gears with tires like that I highly doubt the transmission will lock the torque converter. You're going to be dumping a lot of gas into the engine and the transmission will be operating at a pretty low efficiency. If you can leave it in a lower gear and get the engine spinning closer to its torque peak, it's possible you could have the torque converter lock and go easy on the throttle. Maybe a Type R sticker or two.
At least that's how I imagine it works lol
