Horn won't shut off!! HELP!

Horn won't shut off!! HELP!
Hi Folks!
I'm new to the forum. I have a 1997 Cherokee Sport and today after making a turn, the horn came on and wouldn't shut off. I had to disconnect the battery cable to get it to stop. Eventually I pulled the horn relay and got it to stop.
For the last month, the turn signal won't turn off after a turn, I have to manually reset it after I turn.
Any possibility they're related?
I've read online where it could be related to the clockspring in the steering column.
Anyone ever hear of this or experience this? Is it a possibility it's so easy as to be just the relay???

it is possible that the two are from the same issue,the cancellation switch for the blinkers is also part of the horn. It is possible you have a short in the colum.
