Renix was used on 4.0L up to 90, HO is 91 and up. New cylinder head, intake, exhuast and electronic fuel injection system.

.....and Renix is a acronym/combo of Renault and Bendix, who designed/mfgd the fuel/emissions systems (the Renix years), from what I've read.

Renix has no engine light, stores no codes. The "old ones" tell stories at night of the mythical DRB II scanner that can read its ECU in live time. Idk if you need to chew on some root to see it. There is some Renix stuff in the link in my signature btw.

Cruiser54 has a Renix scanner.

I plan a road trip to AZ just to visit him one day.

You might put doors on that first Gee Ho Dee. You are gonna end up with a cab full of sand or cactus or something!
