You need an alignment badly..To me it means that the tre on the passengers side is threaded out to much and was installed incorrectly. When the TRE's are installed they are set so that both tires are as even as possible. At least that is how I do them. I am not front end expert so I am sure someone who knows more will chime in. But bottom lines you need an alignment but if that front left tire is straight and the right is pointing out they may need to pop the tre off and readjust it first. Just my thoughts and opinion..

your toe is out.

you can adjust it yourself if you can use a tape measure and hand tools.

measure from tire to tire, you want the distance equal between the front and back of each tire, maybe with just a little toe in (1/8") or so

Here's a write-up for you.

http://www.go.jeep-xj.info/HowtoAlignment.htm

I put all new tie rod ends in yesterday, and I aligned it myself using Go-Jeep's as my guide. Should serve you pretty well, it's super easy!

Get your tape measure out. You need to adjust your tie rods until you have an equal distance between the middle of the front and rear of your front tires. that will fix your toe problem then adjust the collar on your draglink to center the steering wheel.

the draglink is connected to the pitman arm and has the 2 15mm bolted clamps on it right?

Yes, the 2 clamps are on either end of the adjustment collar. Loosen the 2 clamps and the collar will turn. I've adjusted mine so much that it turns by hand when the clamps are loosened but, had to use pliars the first few times as it's pretty greasey and nasty up there.

oh and also.. with correcting the toe problem.. do i need to adjust both side tie rods? or just the passenger side since the driver side tire is straight? i imagine just the passenger side... but what i dont get is, if the passenger tire is straight.. the the driver side tire points to the left.. how can i tell which one is truely off? thanks for letting me be a pita guys!. haha

i do alignments all day at my shop, just take it to the pros they will have it done and done right, about $50-60 trust me even if you think you have it close with a tape measurre it is still off, theres a certain degree it has to be within for best results, and tire wear, but if you try it urself good luck....!!!!

i ended up taking it to the shop this morning.. its too cold to mess with it myself, and i wanted to get it done asap so i could put more miles on it so i can re tighten any bolts that need adressed... left side was out -2degrees and right side was out over 1 degree
