I use 4 low and give 'er. Only thing I try to keep in mind is that if I'm not going to make it, I try not to dig huge holes by staying in the gas because if you're going to try it again, you lose alot of momentum bouncing through the holes. Its going to take you a couple runs as it and because everyone's rigs vary so much due to gearing and tire size, what works for me won't necessarily work for you so go out and try it.

Air down your tires and remember... Momentum is your friend

95% of the time when I'm off road, I'm in 4 low because it never hurts to have the extra gearing and torque.

X3 on the low range. I use low on the beach and when I'm trailing...Tj.

Yeah, pics or a video. A novice like me needs to learn the correct way to do these things before I tear the bottom out of everything.

X 4.......4LO, 1st gear and nail it. If it starts spinning as mentioned before get off of it so you don't dig in. Back down and try it in 4HI. Typically 4HI wide open will get you up any hill that you're going to make it up but, sometimes it's too slick and the added wheel speed will help you more. Like I found out on a recent 4x4 trip in VERY deep snow. 4HI allows you to float on the snow easier where as 4LO will cause you to dig to China on start up and when gassing it.

Do you have a t-case drop? Either way, check the adjustment on your t-case shift linkage. Mine was off and wouldn't go in 4lo but worked fine in 4hi. After adjusting it, it works fine.

Congrats by the way on making the hill climb
