Default High lift jack vs farm jack

So I was just givin a 48" 7000 lb Farm Jack for free in brand new condition.
My question is should I still save up and get a high lift jack? Or will this do?
Any one had problems with a farm?
Thank you in advance

"Hi-Lift" is a brand name. A farm jack is pretty much the same thing. I have the Reese brand version myself.

Cool thank you
My dad was talking like a farm jack is a knock off and its almost not even worth having..
I just wanted to see what others thought.
He's strong minded

Not sure about then newer ones, but on our farm my grandfather had one that he always called a "Railroad" jack. Looks just like the high lift. That thing would lift a house lol. Only thing I hated was it must have weighted 35 pounds or more. I need to dig it out the next time I am back at Dad's, it is stuck away in a barn somewhere

Haha yeah that thing is damn heavy!
The previous owner bought it along time ago and had it just sitting in his garage. So I know it's an older one
