DO you know how to adjust your TPS I would start there first.

Also try cleaning your throttle body and your IAC port

Do as Stryker suggests. The red exhaust indicates that you are running rich. Check your O2 sensor. There is a procedure to do both in the tech write-up section.

Definitely clean your throttle body and IAC. Buy a throttle body gasket, hard brissle tooth brush, and intake cleaner remove the throttle body to get it sparkling clean. Also remove and clean the IAC from the TB really good I would test the IAC to make sure it is working. (TEST IAC) Remove the intake boot from the TB and look down in the throttle body (the little port hole off to side of the main butterfly) have someone start up the Jeep and see it you can see the IAC pluger move in and out.

The glowing red exhaust is probably caused by a stopped up Catalytic Converter.

remove your IAC motor and spray it clean with some brake cleaner.
if that doesn't work, you may have to replace it with one from a j/y.

I have used Brake-Cleen and a toothbrush with good results. Wife never knew I used her toothbrush either.

That Brake Cleaner will make her Pearly Whites spic and span....

Ditto on cleaning the IAC motor and bore. Read out your TPS to see if it's good and adjust if needed. Clean your whole Throttle Body. Carb. cleaner and a tooth brush is what I use. All the cleaners the guys have recommended will work just fine.

Buck and I agree again. Be very careful with that pintle on the IAC they bend easier than you might think. If they bend then you have to replace the IAC.
