hid's can be very finicky trying to hook up the first time. if the bulb does not turn on try flipping the wires at the connectors like stated above. do that to either side headlight.

make sure the ballasts are not touching a metal surface on the vehicle. that can prevent them from working and also may blow them.

check the the headlight fuse, first off make sure the fuses for the headlights are still good, then make if you have anything less than 20 amp fuses to change them to 20. most manufacters suggest that. if you dont have enough power flow they wont power up.

the first hid kit i installed was a b, took me days to get it right. definately worth it tho IMO, even makes silverstar ultras look like crap.

Thought of something to check out with the pics, the hid definatly looks to be single beam. Now where the 2 prong from the hid meets the 3 prong feed from the stock harness, you have a power (red) and a ground (black) and the 3 prong females i think the ground is up to by itself. I think it may not be touching the correct terminals on the plugs. Double check what color the prong wire color match up qnd post whats hitting where color wise.

Pretty sure purple is dim, red is high, and the black top one is ground.

What? lol

Give an update after you check into that a bit more, 4 small pieces of wire and a few connectors should be able to get you hooked up to the terminals.
