hey there noob here with some questions
hey all, i'm new to this site and currently have an 88 Comanche 2wd 2.5 4spd.
i'm going to look at a possible trade on monday for a 97 cherokee, and i gots a question about the transmission in them.... the guy that owns it now said he put a boneyard aw4 in it, and now it will not shift on its own, you have to manually take it through the gears... what i suspect he's done is put an older than 97 trans in it and maybe it has a different TCM in it? will an older TCM have the same plug as the newer but with different pinouts? anyone got an idea?
