I've seen that Jeep on a forum because I remember that hood scoop.

 

Not sure where I found it, I did a search on wiring jeep cherokee's and came across it. Thats what happens when you spend 40 hours a week infront of a computer. Things are coming and going and can't remember how.

The only thing wrong with that xj is the 305! It needs a 302.

 

Dude my best friends dad has an 82 Boss 302 mustang, he bored out his 302 and now he has 500+ hp, plus he used to have a NOS system

 

Isn't it a stick on hood scoop? looks like it.

 

It looks like one....either that or they did a bad job of blending it with the factory hood.

As for the 305 vs 302....Needs a Mopar number 318/340/360 or could CRAM a 440. Possibilities are truly endless when it comes to something like that.

For example: I was able to shoe-horn a SBC 305 into a 1982 Chevy Citation retaining FWD configuration.
