HELPHELP! Alarm won't shut off.
92 XJ Limited w/stock alarm.
Battery has been killed by the alarm, I can boost it, but the alarm comes right back on and drains it instantly.
It's -43. I'm stuck 40km's from home. I have NO options, MUST turn this effing thing off.

hook up the jumper cables, shut the doors, lock them WITH the key. wait ten seconds and unlock with the key. That should reset it.

I tried that before, when I first bought it. But that fuse doesn't seem to work.
Which has me wondering if this is a bloody after market alarm.
I stupidly remembered how to shut the damn thing off... I had to run around my jeep like a tool and lock then unlock the passenger door with the key. How EFFING retarded!
How can I kill this thing for good? It's been nothing but problems since I bought her.

Find the PURPLE and YELLOW wire in the Driver Kick Panel / door boot.
Splice one end of a piece of wire into the PURPLE and YELLOW wire.
Attach the other end of the piece of wire to Chassis ( Ground)
This will disArm the Alarm until the wire is reomved.
