Help with wiring short
Here's my issue, a more knowledgeable person is helping me and what we've found is this:
radiator fan is not turning on.
Moving the relay around will cause it to turn on if you get it just right, but then it goes off again.
Relay is not the cause, we switched it with fuel pump relay - same issue.
If he puts some of those wires from the relay directly together (and here I am beyond my understanding) the fan will turn on -- sometimes, it will turn on even if the key is not on (a short I believe).
Also, when the fuse 19 is removed from the panel, the radiator fan turns ON, even with key off...
Help? Ideas?

Moving the relay causes a change then I would suspect something to do with the relay socket or wiring. A wiring diagram might help.

^^^ what he said...and check the main wiring for that box ,or PDC- power distribution center. Make sure nothing is loose, especially the ground. Loose ground wires can cause strange things to happen.

thanks guys...
Is the '97 wiring diagram available freely online? I can't seem to find one.
The grounds seem ok, but I'll check the main wiring for the PDC (the PDC is the box that houses these fuses and relays?)
