Replaced today were the upper and lower control arms with Daystar Poly's...the OEM rubber were overdue for replacement causing a slight DW.
I greased the insides and stuck them back on (used Original arms)
Now when I drive over potholes, into my drive or any bump I can hear a crunch - definately the CA's because nothing else was touched (I did sway bar and track bar a week ago - no issues)
What could this be? Have I not torqued them right? Not enough grease??
I got the whole Daystar master kit and inside are the tie rod bushings (2 bags with 2 inside) where do these go because I can count six around the steering??
Rig: XJ 99 Limited / 4.0 / no mods

sure the tie rod bushings arent boots? most of those kits include replacement dust boots for the tie rods and sometimes balljoints. those arent really going to solve your crunch issue if thats what they are but they will last a bit longer in my experience than the stock rubber boots
