Help on turn indicator clicking
2000 XJ Sport 2WD.... had a problem where the turn indicator was making a buzzing noise (like a speaker blown out electrical buzzing sound) when the car was on, but the sound would go away if the turn indicator or hazard lights were engaged (normal clicking sound). So I changed out the relay under the drivers dash (used a Novita EP 27). buzzing sound is gone now, but when the car is on, the clicking from the relay is on. Turn lights still work normal, but the clicking is still there. I tried to do the ground wire fix suggested by Cruiser 54, but I can't find the black ground wire he mentions under the steering column that's supposed to be above the hood release. Any chance someone can take a couple photos of the ground wire mentioned and post them? I got a big head and am a bit closterphobic, so I don't want to just hang upside down on the floor mat for longer than I need to. Appreciate it.

A good trick for that is get yourself a box of some sort that's rocker panel height and lay on that with your back on the floor. Works for me. Kids wooden toy chest is about right.
