Default help with tires?

i have a 2000 i want 30s really they are 29.8s can i fit that in the well of a stock

i dont know but i had 29s and they were fine and i the rub just trim a little.Id wait 4 more input though or until bluexj says something.

30's should fit it may rub on fully locked turns though but that has to do with your rims are you putting them on your stock rims

i think bowtie had/has 31"s on one of his xj's at stock hight

Hey they will work I have 30 9.50 15's on my stock 98 they do not scrub while flex but when you turn right with it,It scrubs on the very bottom of the left front fender on the farthest part of the fender.Make it look A whole lot better

30s on my stock 94, no rub except for a locked left turn. You should be good. If its really that bad adjust your steering lock.

30's should work fine for street use..Won't be good offroad since they will rub but if you plan on a lift of 2" of more anytime soon I'd go ahead and get 30's..If you don't need tires immediately and plan on a lift wait trust me.

for s**** and giggles i just went out and threw on my 31's with 15x7 rims with 3.75 backspacing and the dont rub, but that was just on the street with no lift at all, now im gonna take em back off cause i dont want to look at her like that with no lift

I believe a 235-15 is around 28-29 iches tall. I know they will fit a stock XJ. Heck, I believe they would fit my wife's WUSS-J......er.......I mean Liberty.
