That's good to know cause my 30's look pretty darn tiny on my lift... but money has come in and I see some 31 or 32 inch tires in my future..

currently i am running 31x10.5 on a stocker, no trimming yet. yes they do rub on full tilt turns bc i have stock rims. 5.25" bs. i plan on soft 8's 4"bs in the NEAR future. the rears rub in the whoops and im doing a bastard pack aal from a 98 xj for that. to level the front i am using ZJ V8(the 5.9L) to level the front. $80.14 form advance autoparts delivered tomorrow. if your planning on going higher in the future, get the rims you want now, mount the tires you want and dont put them on until you have your lift installed. that way you have em and you can just slap em on when you get taller.

I have a 99 XJ totally stock right now sitting on 30x9.50 bridgestone dueler AT revo's on the same wheels that are on the jeep in your avatar. I am assuming that is yours.
for street driving it is just fine. I have no rubs at all even on full lock turns. I even have the slightest amount of sagging in the rear and its still fine.
BUT
if you plan on wheeling it before you get the lift, ITS GONNA RUB. I
hauled about 300 lbs of tools in the rear of my XJ a few weeks back and even then it still did fine and the tire was tucked up in the fender. the only time I had an issue was backin up in my moms driveway I backed the left rear tire up onto a very small embankment and the tire JUST BARELY rubbed the rear bumper end cap.

rest assured you can buy your 30's now and drive it just fine until you can afford your lift and can get it installed.
