Default Help with taking off track bar??

Can I leave the jeep on all 4s or do I need to jack up the front end and let the axle hang?

Its easier for me with it on the ground. Take the axle end off first, you might need to have someone move the steering wheel back and forth slightly to slide the bolt out of the bracket.

To remove my bar I took out cotter pin and castle nut on drivers side and put nut back on half way. Passenger side, remove bolt and lower to ground. Use ball joint fork tool to loosen driver side of bar, take off nut. Or with pass. side of bar on ground, place a 1.25" block of steel between bar and frame mount and forcefully pry up on other end of bar to pop joint apart. Watch your knuckles! Take off nut and bar is off. Do this with 4 wheels on ground and blocked. Someone my have to turn steering wheel a little bit one way or another to put bar back in. Do tourqe to specs.
