Hey guys i need some help my 96 zj 5.2 auto is shuttering and shaking when I give it gas mostly in gear but does sputter and drop rpm in N or P.if I hold it at 2k it drops to 15hundered Ihad a friend give me some gas that he drained from a boat but his truck isn't having this issue.seems to get worse when driving longer bad gas or what and just noticed.CEL came on this morning going to work

This. The fact that you have a check engine light and symptoms is not likely a coincidence.

Alright sorry guys i was working but just got home after a long leap frog drive home from auto part store to the next.i had the code read and it was iac so replaced it and tps. Also fuel filter and very good spray wash with carb cleaner.still the same thing

 

Is the check engine light still coming on?

 

No the IAC took care of that but still runs like its not getting something (air/fuel) but i just changed the fuel filter lastnight on my way home
