Bench bled the master cylinder, and bled everything, all lines properlly several times... And the pedal still goes to the floor?? and they barelly work only when the pedal is all the way to the floor....?? I have done brake work for years and Ive never seen annything like this?? Anyone please help, I have an important job interview tomorow morning at 10:00 and have been without a car for 4 days......

Are you sure you mounted the caliphers with the bleeder screws on top I have seen people mount them upside down just a thought.

Did you adj. rear shoes before bleeding them? Easy to overlook when frustrated by time constraints and standard xj money pit problems! Not assuming you don't know, just know about being frustrated!!!

do your calipers work? take it off the rotor and push the brakes and see if it clamps down.. by the way you need a c clamp to push it open after you do that to get it back on the rotor

If you pump the pedal a bunch of times does it gain resistance? If so then I'd go along with the other guy that said the rear pads aren't adjusted properly. Are you using one of those bleeder bottles when you bleed?
If not how are you bleeding them?
