What was the code? And a code does not tell to replace a sensor, it tells you that something is out of spec and what sensor is reporting a problem. They're more like clues than they are codes.

Is there still a check engine light?
Post the EXACT code here for the most accurate replies.
If it is a map sensor code, there are other things besides the sensor itself. Wiring, connector, vacuum lines, etc.

This is your problem. You do NOT have any power going to the map sensor. There should be 5 volts going to this sensor and there isn't.
You could verify this if you want with a meter, but dollars to donuts, the power isn't there.
Your job is to start tracing back from the connector through the wiring to figure out where the open in the circuit is.
This is almost assuredly your problem.

Fuel Filter? Just a suggestion, but I would check the fuel pressure at the rail to rule out delivery issues. You can rent the gauge advance or auto zone with a refundable deposit

Inspect the connector for that map sensor and every inch of wiring.
Until you get power TO the map sensor, you're hosed. It will not work without 5 volts and it is a critical engine management sensor.

TJwalker is right on this one. Your power is not getting to the map. Check the wire harness real well. Make sure there are no loose wires in it. Check your fuse pannel too. I dont know if there is a fuse for it but its worth a shot.
