I should have specified my statement a bit, they appear to be the same but the out side ring just looks different. I will try the original one and see if it yields the same results. What looks different though is where they drilled it for weight correction not the physical part itself ....but I suppose it could be even though it appears different.

Let me ask though, it shouldn't move regardless though, I think the crank is what's moving.

Thanks for the reply.

No, I had to use an installer. It fits very tight.

It may look like 1 finger in the video, when I laid the phone down it got off center. I have to push pretty hard to move it. And yes it is an auto.

Yeah, that's what was suggested by another member and if I have time this evening that's what I will do. If its all moving is that a major repair? The odd thing is like I said before though is that you can hear it like hitting right inside the pan, directly behind the dampener.

Oh, I was telling him about one I had break on a diagonal. The main held the broken end surprisingly well/straight, and would still rotate due to the angle. Still waiting for him to pull the dust cover or the starter and put that one to bed, one way or the other. No rush!

Also, since the bolt seems to be tight, and is moving.....

Got to where an insane quantity wouldn't work.

Great photo Cherokee, (I want one looks like that!) I wonder how long that could work, broken. Driving the cam and accessories is small fish compared to engine torque.
Guess it would start to knock like a disco, then eventually start pissing out the cover seal...someday. Not an interference engine. If enough of the shaft is still riding on #1 main, there may not be much flex between there and #2.
