I did the smoke test ,the gas cap sealed, only smoke was out of the oil cap, fuel vapor vent filter and a lil from the throttle body shaft. Seems like its either the solenoid or the evap canister itself. The solenoid was closed so Im wondering if the solenoid is stuck closed? How can I go about testing it? Can I test the evap canister?

I went to a local junk yard and they charged me $5 for a used solenoid and it fixed my problem. I have 200k on my Jeep and this will be my 3rd one. I know there was a way to test it but if you have no leaks I would just replace the part. I think they are only about $30 new too, check rock auto or ebay.
