HELP for orders
If i order same thinks for my XJ can anyone help me with the shipping to Greece? I mean can he order for me 4 shocks and send them to me at Greece as a gift (To avoid custom charge)(or he can bring with him when he came for holidays to my place ) and he can charge my credit card. It's a question for the futoure.
For example i had bay a kit for the ECU with cost at USA $200, the shipping cost was $100 and at the custom charge me $150 more. Total $450. Here in Greece the prise was $600. I save $150 for ather thinks, but why not save $300?

I have shipped stuff to Scotland before and was surprized at the cost to ship stuff to Europe. The guy I sent it to also warned me to declare it as a gift so the customs would be cheaper.

Custom here in Greece charge acording to the invoice. If the invoice is bigger than $100 includ the shipping cost, they charge 60% taxes. If it is a gift or used they don't. So, if the sender is not a shop the package is taxfree. The shipping costs are charge by the kgrs.

Which shock do you need. You buy them and have them shipped to me and I will repackage them and send them to you. You can send me the funds through PayPal for the shipping. How does that sound Obelix???

What the heck is up with duty fees? I've shipped whole vehicles for 3K or less.

The vehicles you shipp are used and only for parts that why you don't pay tax. If you want to put GREEK plates you have to pay taxes.

Somehow I doubt they chopped up the trucks I have sold.
PS. Ivan shipps overseas, just tell him to ship in his name and not the business and he will. He keeps the Ausie's stocked with parts and the Danish.
