HELP! No fire
so i had my jeep running yesterday, shut it off, it WILL NOT start now.
ive checked the CPS, TPS, fuel pressure at the rail, ive got power going into the distributer but none coming out. The plugs are getting fuel to them.

NSS. try starting it in N. if it turns over, clean or replace the sucker... your right on w/ the CPS/TPS... but how have you checked them? has it been on a code reader. sometimes there will be a code stored in there that hasnt tripped the CEL...

have you pulled the dist. apart to see if its the rotor? alot of times, as with my 99, there was some build up on it. how was it running before this?
HEADS UP: the cap is plastic and there is a high likeyhood that it will , or that the area around the screw will snap. a zip tie in place of the screw was all the engineering it took for me!

So to get more info., it will turn over fine, but not start?.......Best to include that bit of information as "won't start" can be mis-interpreted as won't turn over.
Have you actually tested the crank sensor with a meter? Testing is mandatory.
As is testing of the ignition coil for primary/secondary resistances if the crank sensor checks out.

sorry man, the cps tests right where it should according to the haynes manual. i do have power goig to the distributor, its got roughly 12 volts to the top of the cap but nothing coming out and going to the plugs. could the ignition switch be at fault? it was running great yesterday when i turned it off. i guess the old acronym Just Expect Every Problem is true!
