like I said in the title. I left off the wire from the distro to the solenoid cranked it over a few times, realized I forgot the wire, reconnected it, still just turning over. Gave it a little gas, it almost started then EVERYTHING DIED, no power anywhere on the dash, nothing, WTF happened? DAMN

Was it pluged into the coil?If it was, a nice ark probably shot out and fried something right there.

Where was it laying?Start by checking relays and fuses in that area.

I just started looking around and what not and the dome light just pops back on, so, somehow, I have power again. Is there anything I should look out for before I try and crank it again?

Well it didn't want to start, had to give it some gas but it started and I drove it for a minute, when I turned it back off it didn't want to start again then it lost ALL electrical power AGAIN, WTF is going on?
Is there a ground or something that would do this? A relay is either good or bad right, not intermittent? I disconnected the battery earlier, is it difficult to start after you reconnect a battery on a Jeep?

I've disconnected mine a few times with no problems. Just make sure you have all the grounds hooked up. Also check your fuse box under the hood see if all the fuses are ok.

I squished the coil wire down and it went an LRCH further. Swapped out batteries with my Honda it it started like a champ. I think I've been leaving the rear hatch open too long while doing stuff.
