HELP!! new u-joints or wheel bearings squeaking

Default HELP!! new u-joints or wheel bearings squeaking

Basically my front end sounds like a bunch of crickets are in my axle after 25 or 35 mph, how do tell what is wrong? both u-joints are new and driver side bearing is new, pass. side wheel bearing is 1 year old

I don't think its them... they are old but have half a life left, squeak doesn't stop when I'm on the brakes

i felt the caps tonight and 2 are warmer than the rest on the driver side

Are they greasable? Do you wheel? Etc...

they are non greasable, i trashed both of them mudding a month ago and replaced them two weeks ago, haven't been off road since

Sounds like you have my problem. Try looking for those zerk fittings and grease them.

they don't have them they are non-greasable

Could be Ball Joints. Mine were creaking mostly at low speed leaving and entering driveways and such. Sounded like a door with rusted hinges. LOL

yes one of mine is bad but this is kind of an all the time thing, flat smooth road straight line and it squeaks like a bunch of little squeaks put together while it spins (thats a weird description)... crickets are the best other way to explain it

If you've been in the mud then there is a chance of swag in your half shafts. Idk, bearings are possible, too..
