ok, first off i know basic maintenance on vehicles, well last night i went to get in my jeep, and it wouldnt start, the clutch was pushed in, all the lights worked and were bright, so i know its not the battery, could the starter be hung up? my jeep is a 1986 jeep cherokee 4x4 with a 2.5 4 cylinder motor, its been starting up fine...if anyone could help me, that would be great, my yahoo messenger is on...cct7026@yahoo.com i really would apprecite it. thank you. -chris

 

I would have to say starter but mine did this twice first time it finally started the second time i tapped it with a wrench 3 times and it started today i went out and atarted it 15 times in a row ? mines a 99 4.0
