Default help motor die/lag problem.

While driving at random the temp gauge will fall to 0 then the motor will lag, loose power and die if idling. No codes or stored codes, fuel pumps working. Fuel pressure okay. Computer module??

The Engine Coolant Temperature (ECT) sensor on the thermostat housing plays a significant role in the engine fuel management system (and coolant temp indication).

Check the ECT sensor connector for security of attahment. If secure, remove the connector and inspect for corrosion in the connector pin cavities and the pins on the ECT. Inspect the two wires to/at the connector for chafing.
