Got a SYE from Advanced adapters. I have a 1999 XJ with a 4.5 RE lift, NP231 TC and 8.25 rearend. Thousands of these lift have been done i'm sure. But nobody can tell me what length driveline to get? Not even advance adapters?, Rubicon, anybody? I just don't want to be without my jeep for a week after I measure it and wait for a driveline to be built? Are XJ's all different?

i wanted to know the same thing, but from what i understand eveyones car is just a bit diffrent. so I decided to just wait and meauser after i put the kit on to be sure and not have any problems...and if you need to move it it just throw it in 4x4, but i wouldnt reccomend driving it on anywhere far, maybe just out of the garrage or w/e
and yes you do need an shaft with the slip in the shaft....

I've beat the crap out of it and no problems at all. People do this all the time.
But I know the Tom Woods is more beefy so you can get this and get the woods shaft and then have this as a spare for the front or back.

Yup it's got a slip yoke. Just grab one from a j/y and save the bolts with it cause your gonna need them. I got this one from a 94 it should not be any different from a 99.

J/Y? Or did you mean Y/J?
And it take "zero" modifications to work?
