Your air filter has nothing to do with spark. You still have not specifically answered many important questions that have been asked more then once. If you want help then you need to answer those questions thoroughly so we can help you diagnose your rig via the internet.

DID YOU CHANGE ANYTHING BEFORE THE JEEP JUST DECIDED NOT TO START? This includes changing any components, doing upgrades and modifications, wiring, ANYTHING.

DID YOU DO ANYTHING OUT OF NORM TO THE JEEP BEFORE THE JEEP DECIDED NOT TO START? This includes washing down the engine compartment, driving through water puddles at high speeds or going mudding even a day earlier, getting in an accident that may have set off a "kill switch", ect. I know that most people would automatically mention this in the thread but we need to be specific because rigs rarely just decide they dont want to start anymore.

DID YOU CHECK FOR A PULSE USING A NOID LIGHT OR PROPER TOOL? The reason I ask this again is because when I asked you said we had "that light" and checked everything for "power". Voltage is different then pulse. A noid light looks like this http://www.google.com/imgres?q=noid+...w=1366&bih=643
It should flash while plugged into an injector plug and attempting to start the jeep.

WAS CHECKING FOR SPARK THE FIRST PLACE YOU STARTED? Or did you change a component then go, "Oh, maybe we should check for spark." Please describe the process you are using to check spark. Sorry if this question seems really ridiculous but you never know.

I did not change anything before this problem, checked for spark before changing anything, and water and mud was driven through probably going like 20ish a couple days before the problem and it was raining the night before it didn't start, and it was not a noid light it was a screwdriver looking thing, does that help? Sorry about not answering

Water probably wasn't the cause then. Let's backtrack a bit. After you checked for spark, replaced the coil and all that have you verified you connected everything properly? If you removed any spark plug wires make sure you put them back on correctly, some manuals and diagrams have the cap screw holes 90* off and have been known to throw a lot of people off, myself included.

Ignition coil has 2 wires.
turn ignition on
both wires should have 12 V

touch gray wire by test light and ask somebody to try to start engine. Test light should blink

Thanks for following up on the solution. 90% of the time the OP just disappears.
