Default help me if you can

OK I got my Jeep in time and the problem I'm running into now is its not getting any gas. I can hear the fuel pump kick on and off but I'm not getting anything on the fuel rail. What could it be? Please help me out and its a 93 xj 4.0 thanks

Could be a bad pump. Clogged filter.

Could be alot of things.

So I should start at the fuel filter and go from there cause it sat for 2 years that I know of

I would say to need to start by drop the tank and clean it out. What year is your jeep

define "now is its not getting any gas." litterally you push valve on rail and nothing? or really really low pressure? either way a bad filter or a pinched line maybe? what about PCM? you have odb1 (i think) but you can still pull codes. even if CEL isnt on there might be a code storred in there that will give you a direction. idk, my .02. good luck!

I pushed in the valve on the fuel rail and it didn't let any pressure out at all (no air or gas) and since its been sitting for a few years I'm gonna replace the fuel pump and filter to start with

untill this is done your gonna have troubles old fuel turns to varnish and plugs up everthign

Yeah, when I first got it I tryed to start it and I could smell dead gas

2 years ,you dont have gas anymore you got turpintine.Like above clean tank,and pump (i would replace it) new filter,lines are most likily plugged up with rust and gum,fuel rail cleaning, injector cleaning or replacement, new fuel regulator, etc,etc.
