hey guys
just 2 weeks ago i got an 2001 XJ limited. i've been doing some cleaning and tweaking and fixing any little problems i run into along the way. So far i did my brakes, plugs, bought new wipers, washed the interior carpeting and now im waiting for a weekend so i can go all out on detailing the exterior. I had a few little pieces that i replaced and such but....

Here's one thing that i can NOT find, even if my life depended on it. I visited over 25 junk yards and i've seen 100's of cherokee's but i cant find a TAN/BEIGE rear speaker cover that's located in the roof of the trunk/hatch.

If anyone knows the Mopar part number for it or has any idea how i can go about locating one, PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE let me know. Its driving me crazy since its the very last thing that the car is missing and i see the ugly speaker every time i look in the rear-view mirror. =(

If you get me the vin# i can check and see what part number you need and how much they list from the factory.

 

i work at a dealer ship. i work in the ford side but the guys next door at jeep always help me out. i could even sale the part at wholesale price plus shipping.

if you manage to get this for me dude, ill forever be grateful. I found a million of them in gray for $2/$3 but absolutely no one has the tan/beige one.

 

whats it worth to you. have one in my jeep. I would part ways with it for the right price. then again the price I have in mind is enough for new wheels so your prolly better off going with the stealer ship.

 

haha ^^. You should just get a gray one and rattle can it the color you want.

 

well thanks for all the help guys but one of the guys at my local chrysler/jeep dealer actually managed to locate one for me in Milwaukee and ill be getting it next week, and i only paid $30. Well thats a lot of money for a minor thing like that but its so worth IMO + dont forget thats the dealer prices we are talking about =)
