Default help with lift kit

i have a 2001 jeep cherokee. i recently bought a 4.5 inch rough country lift kit. i heard i need the transfer case drop. what size drop do i need? i have no idea

just get a one inch drop $20. if you have the money tho and want to avoid later problems you might have then just get a slip yoke eliminator kit, thats your best bet.

1 inch will work on a 4.5 drop.

However, if you don't have the cash to plunk down for an SYE, a TC drop will work just fine.

a transfer case drop bracket is a permanent fix, as far as it will not cause wear in your other parts. but it's just as good of a fix as putting a curtain in your unfinished basement. all of the junk is still there, you can still get around cluster of junk to put more junk in there, the curtain hides the junk, but it's not a finished basement. it's not something you wanna look back at years to come. just my opinion.
