Default Help! Jeep wont start!

I got an 89 Laredo and I went to start up to drop off my gf and when I cranked it over it went really slow but started right up. So I shut it off waited a second and tried starting it again and it won't turn or even click all it does is make his humming sound when you turn the key to try to start it what I also notied is when turn the key my temp gauge goes all the way to the right. Can anyone help?

If your bat is that fresh and good, could be bad ground. I've had more than one ground wire (battery to block) fail on dif vehicles over the years. If your bat looses that ground it could have lost the charge as your alternator wouldn't be able to recharge with an incomplete circuit. When it wouldn't go with a boost it seems like an inclomplete circuit. 2nd thing to check is the positive lead to the starter, is it a good line?
