Default Help..jeep keeps dying

Well my 89 Cherokee continues to die as I am driving down the highway. I can pull over and crank it back up after a few long cranks while pumping the gas peddle a few time and off she running again but ccontinues to spit and sputter the whole time unless I let off the gas and it will idle a bit rough or low idle...any ideas I can try??

Sounds like either your fuel pump is dying, your fuel pressure regulator has crapped out, you need to replace the fuel filter, you need to clean out your fuel injectors (or swap them out for better ones) or clean out the in-tank sock.

Long story short, you're probably not getting enough fuel, so check everything out.

I'd replace the fuel filter before messing with the regulator.

Sounds like Fuel Pump is about to crap out to me. I've seen this many times. Check fuel pressure at the test port on the fuel injector rail. Should be 30psi + or - 1psi. ANYTHING else and your fuel pump is bad.
