true, he has not communicated that. I did tell him to check his rail pressure after fixing the fuel sending unit. Hope he actually did it.

pressing the schrader valve with a screw driver and seeing gas squirt out is not indicative of the correct pressure. A pressurized matter (gas or liquid), always flows from high to low pressure. So even a lower pressure than factory spec (49PSI) will squirt out.

Yup.

I think the poor guy is getting confused.

Maybe mine is weak or something. Nothing I tried worked until I went to the low volt bulb........ A "Vigorous" spurt indicates better pressure then the alternative. The tester is free though, I hear. Btw guys, his pressure is 39# with the vacuum line off the regulator, and about 10 less with it on,

Most test lights are low voltage. No need to tear flashlights apart.

Actually, not a bad idea! That little pulse that doesn't seem to even light a 12V incandescent isn't gonna hurt you...(much!)

I just noticed my cheap little analogue meter has a 2.5 volt scale. Wonder if it would make the needle bob a little if it were working?
