New here- Apologies up front if this has already been posted but spent some time searching and haven’t found this specific connector. 1988 Cherokee Laredo. It’s located behind passenger kick panel but has no apparent place to plug in. Thinking something related to door locks? Perhaps previous owner removed whatever it went to. Any help is much appreciated.

-violet w/ white stripe
-orange w/black stripe

Based on the shape it looks like the defroster control relay plug

 

I've got no experience with your era cherokee but a FSM will give you most likely some handy info and wiring diagrams for hours of fun in the future of repairs etc
