OK, I'm installing a brand new headliner. Underneath the headliner, there are several wiring harnesses, that were "taped" to the bare metal roof. This tape, over the years has become "crispy", and it has lost it's bond in places. I am interested in finding this "tape". I can't find it online. It is very thick, and heavy, and comes in "patches", rather than strands. It's almost like tar on the sticky side. Any ideas on what it's called? And where to get it?

Probably not the same stuff since its not black and tar looking, but 3M 4011 is the tape of the gods. Its waterproof, heat proof, cold proof, chemical proof for the most part, and it sticks to everything. $4 for a small roll or $15 for a huge roll at home depot.
