help.. how to install winshield
Looks like I chimed in too late. I will say, however, that Safelite is the devil, being that I worked for them for 12 years. Just hope that new windshield doesn't say SGC Dot 65 on it. That's their in-house manufacturing brand. Probably says FYG, which is Fuyao Glass Corp. of China, and sadly is much better quality.

Just out of curiosity, was it an accident or did you get mad and break it? LOL! This was my last accident.... Should have pulled another 3 inches away...

No clue, it was an awesome experience, the guy was cool. The windshield has a warranty for life, and I'm getting glass coverage here shortly.
No worried lol

Yeah, that eurathane holding in the windsheilds ISNT easy to work with whatsoever. We used to glue quarters to the floor with it at the glass shop and secretly watch people as they tried to get them up in the waiting room. Took 6 years to pull up one quarter, and when it was pulled up, the eurathane was still tacky. This stuff is meant to NEVER dry and its very hard to get a front windshield out without breaking it. Now in old cars (ones that only use dry seals instead of eurathane) you can get the window out with a boxcutter, you can actually get the rest of the windows out that way
Just my 2cents, worth a try if you're ready to try to do it the right and patient way. BUT WHATEVER YOU DO make sure any part of the window frame that is scratched is PAINTED BACK OR COVERED. Ever seen a car with rust on around the windshield? thats why.
