Default help: fuel pump going bad? neon injectors or ????

i have a '98 with accelerating problem on cold start without warming up first when taking off. there be a three popping sound like misfired. i can floor it and the jeep does not want to move. when this happen i would let my foot off the gas pedal let it coast for 10 second or so then ease on the gas pedal and it drive fine.

it all happened after i swapped to neon injectors, clean the throttle body. i did dropped the pintle when taking off the throttle body, i wonder would that have anything to do. the neon injectors are junk yard pulled soaked in seafoam. i swapped to another set of neon injectors after the first set but still doing same thing.

had already replaced new plugs, wires, cap, distributor rotor, ignition coil, alternator and starter. im pretty stump right now what could it be? was thinking maybe i should swap back to stock injectors to see if that would solve the problem. talk to me guys need some advice.

Did you clear the ECM after the swap?

My guess would be he did not, rebuilt injectors are just to cheap not to use them. Mine had been through an ultra-sonic cleaner and new O-rings they looked like new and ran perfect after the reset.

Clear the ecm with a code reader? Or by disconnecting the battery?

I just put 784's in my jeep. I didnt clear the ecm. I have a slight stumble during idle.

If a IAC doesn't fix it, consider the upstream O2S as being defective, or the O2S heaters fuse blown.

i unhooked the battery before the swap and and few other times after before. they junk yard injectors. im going to replace the IAC first like CCKEN said and see if that fix cuz i did took pulled off the throttle body and messed with it. the upstream O2 sensor is that the one in the exhaust manifold (closest to the motor)? O2 heater fuse would this be the fuse block under the hood?

Here's a pic of the PDC showing the location of the O2S Heaters fuse.

.
The upstream O2S is the one closest to the engine. Examine the wire harness going to the O2S as it passes over the intake manifold for chaffing.
