I have a 96 Cherokee Country 2wd automatic that is giving me some issues.I have had fuel problems since day with a rusted out tank which has since been replaced along with the sock, filter, and pump. I put a new pump in it this past weekend and now the fuel pressure is reading at 60psi. It has the in tank pressure regulator that i cant find anywhere. is this high of pressure normal or am i looking at spending more money on this nightmare?
The weird thing is it seems to run ok but I am tired of putting pumps and filters on this thing.

 

If I'm not mistaken, it is supposed to be 55-61#. 60 is good.

 

OK I wasn't sure everything I read said 30-40psi. Guess i finally got some good info.

 

Not all cherokees are going to be 60lbs,mine is and 89 and 30-35 is where it runs,it just depends.
