Default Help; Cherokee starts but wont run

Hi, I am having problems with my 1995 Jeep Cherokee 4.0L Country. When I turn the key to the run position the fuel pump doesn't run nor do the vent or radio, but the headlights, horn and wipers do. When I turn the key to start, the starter kicks in and starts normally, then dies instantly.

Tried the fuses and wiggled a lot of connectors. Any ideas?

Fuel pump ballast resistor, jump the two wires together see if it runs.

Thanks guys, but got it figured out. The ignition switch unit had burned out and lost contact with one of the posts.
