Got stuck bad last night. Finally was pulled out by big truck with 30 foot runin strt. When it yanked me out. My 88 jeep cheroke died!! Will not strt now. It has spark and fuel. It will strt when I use either. So I'm thinkin it my injectors not firing. Any thing I can look for. Maybe. Kill swithc. For wreck ?? Please text or call me. 575 317 4373. Barely able to get this posted. Again its. 88 jeep cherokee 4.0 wit auto. It was runin in deep water when pulled out. But did not die tell it was jerk really hard. Please text or calll

so... did you make it home (let's hope so!)
it would seem to me to check every dang sensor out there, don't worry about the cps, the connector is on top near the intake manifold.
Hit them up with syl-glide (silicone grease, it's cheap at napa. You can also buy dielectric grease which is the same stuff only more expensive) as well- electrical connectors, battery terminals, grounds, etc. Petroleum jelly is said to work, but I never tried using it.
Also do a compression test, but I doubt that'd show anything abnormal. I think you may have mucked up a sensor reading as the connector got wet or something.

it was running when they jerked ya? pull out your spark plugs and roll the engine over (try and start it with out the spark plugs in) and see if any water shoots out of the holes. sounds to me like you might have taken a drink!

thanks for the info guys. but i found the problem it was a burnt fuseable link for my mulit port injection.. i re wired it and she fired right up..
i did have a tone of mud , water in the exhause but my new flowmaster acted like a filter as they had to winch me out backwards..lol

Glad you got home OK, but since you mentioned it, pulling you out backwards could have induced the stall. Excessive water in the exhaust could have effectively blocked the flow of exhaust, which would cause a stall. If it can't breathe out, it can't breathe in either...
