OK I got my AC recharged yesterday and I turned the AC on cold and for some reason the compressor clutch won't stay on. I replaced the low pressure cutoff switch on the receiver drier and the clutch still won't work I unplugged the the plug to the cut off switch and used a jumper wire on the plug and the clutch turns on.
What I want to know is why the clutch works when I jump it but not when its plugged into the switch

 

Still low on freon, or defective new switch.
