Default Help with 91 limited Starter

Hello fellas,

I am needing a bit of help. When I got my jeep it would not start from the key so the PO decided to wire in a push button starter.

The starter has the battery cable hooked up to it and the wire that runs from the solenoid into the starter with the push button jumping them together. I cannot find or see a signal wire from the key to the starter,.

Can anyone tell me where the signal wire to the starter mounts and where it runs from so I can hook it up correctly?

I'd really appreciate it.

The small wire is the one that goes to the ignition switch/relay, the large one goes to the battery. Don't know about the "button" you're talking about.

Thanks ol'blue, My issue is that my starter doesn't have the small wire and i'm not sure where it runs from. The PO bypassed the starter circuit by installing a push button starter on the dash that runs directley to the starter.

To start my jeep all i need to do is turn the key on and push a button and vroom starts up.

I don't have to turn my key all the way to start for the starter to spin.

I am trying to hook it up like the factory had it but I am missing the small signal wire to the starter.

Any pics on where it comes from out of the relay box?

Also I am assuming the signal wire runs to the small post on the starter right?

Thanks,
Matt
