Default Help

This might be a stupid question but I have an 01 Cherokee with a skyjacker lift, I think, but I am not sure of the lift, how can I tell what the height of the lift is? I just bought it and the owner I bought it off of that it was a 6" lift and I didn't think it was. I thought it was more like a three. I am assuming it is a skyjacker lift because of the red coil springs and the shock that says Skyjacker. It rides on 31x10.5xr15LT Goodyear Wrangler rt/s. First off wrong thread for the question.. Should have started a new one asking this.. Anyways measure from the center of the rim to the bottom of the fender flair... Front stock height is 17.5" rear is 17".. So measure the front and back and subtract the stock measurements to tell how much lift you have..Based on the pic you do not have 6" of lift at all..I'd say more arond 3" maybe a tad more..

He wasn't sure about it. So I pretty much knew that it wasn't so I definitely feel like i didn't get ripped off especially after paying less then 3000 for it.

Maybe a saggy 3in... That is still a nice jeep for 3 g's. Nice find. What else is wrong with it.

Besides some neglect. Nothing. I replaced some axle shaft ujoints and still getting some popping noise. But the real kicker and you would never know this without seeing the title is it has a rebuild salvage title. It runs great and drives nice and looks incredible. Stryker I went out and measured and you were right about the saggy three inch. There is a strong three inch difference in the front but about a 2 to 2 1/2 inch difference in the rear. So I think the shocks in the rear need replaced.

My guess would be the rear was an AAL which will sag in time...

That is interesting how many leafs are stock? and what would be a good replacement instead of AAL's?
