Okey ive searched nd searched but no luck i need to know which wire goes to which terminal on the back of a headlight switch. Btw its on a 2000 xj sport, im in dire need of some help

 

"Help" titles on threads have the opposite effect of what you're hoping for.

"2000 XJ headlight switch wiring help" would serve you better.

 

One Black connector plugs into the headlamp switch. No seperate 'terminal' hookups.

Yes that is what i was looking for, but still need to know which wire goes to which location, when i purchesed my xj it was wired all direct to the headlight switch as in no black connector with some not so safe wiring, now im redoing it with the proper conector but need to know which color wire goes where.

 

Under the column headed "Circuit" it gives the circuit, wire size, and color.

Example: Cav 1, Circuit E1, 20 gauge wire, color TN (Tan).
