Default Overhead Console - Wiring Question

On my 94 XJ i have the keyless remote option and was wondering the if the wiring connection (below) can be used for the overhead console as well. I found a pristine console at the junk yard. On the display what are the readout functions (time, compass, and outside temp)? Thanks.

My console harness has a white connector going into the display that also seems to feed the lights. I doubt the one for the keyless module will work, but I could be wrong. Also, my console only reads compass and outside temp, and it's out of a '92, I believe. Going into my Jeep, I didn't have the correct wiring setup for the console, so I made it a 4 wire hookup. Power coming off ACC slot in fuse panel, ground to kick panel screw and two wires for temp sensor behind front bumper.

Going to the junk yard soon to pickup the unit. I will not only pull the upper wire harness to the console, but the outer console as well. Thanks for the infor.

Out of curiosity, what do you mean by "upper wire harness" and "outer console"?

Which screw did you use for your ground? There's quite a few on the knee panel....

I used the one at the bottom corner passenger side that goes up into the bracket. I'm sure you could use a different one if you wanted to, but that one was just the closest and easiest to get to for me.
