To Hell and back for my XJ. Now Transmission problems! Help!

UPDATE:
Well everybody, I got my XJ back from the transmission shop today. The trans oil pump turned out to be the problem and also the converter had not been bolted up correctly. Shop said converter had "kicked" over a bit during bolt up making it out of alignment. Total cost: $418.00
That was the good news. The bad news is that when I got in it to leave from the trans shop it would not start. A wire, I think, is shorting out somewhere which is cutting power to my fuel pump. Months & months of work and I still can't drive it... YET.
