Default Heldlights not working

OK so the kid I bought my jeep off, butchered the headlight harness. I had no low beams only my high beams and fog lights. So yesterday I fixed the messed up wires and my lights worked, hi and low beams. Then all of a sudden I have no lights except for my fog lights. And the high beam indicator light is on all the time. Does anybody know what the problem could be.

The only fuse I could find was the 40amp in the engine bay and that fuse was good. And yes I did check to make sure the plugs were still on the lights.

It is most likely corrosion or loose connection. The worst type of electrical problem is an intermittent one. Just start checking connections and try swapping relays. Sometimes the contacts inside get pitted and or corroded and its a problem you can't see.
